Students should be doing at least one hour of homework a night: 30 minutes of reading, 30 minutes of other assignments: Wordly Wise, study spelling words, Literature Circles, etc. If they are finished with assignments they can practice typing, handwriting, math facts, spelling, research topics, etc.
